Writing about tango is a bit like describing a smell or a taste: even a description created by an eminent poet will not convey its character, because tango simply has to be experienced. That is why we encourage you: try it, only then will you know what flavour it has for you!

Tango is a fully improvised dance. It is suitable for people of all ages and at any level of physical fitness. It does not require any special outfit or preparation. To start with, all you need to do is bring light and slippery shoes and comfortable clothes. 

Tango is danced in pairs. But if you don’t have a dance partner and you want to start dancing tango, contact us anyway. Many people are in a similar situation and we try to find partners for them.

Tango is very current and alive. In all larger cities, and often also in smaller towns, regular milongas (meetings where tango is danced) are held. There are also several-day events of various kinds, where tango is danced (marathons, festivals etc.), also concerts, shows by maestros and a large selection of workshops and courses where you can improve your skills. It's quite the opposite! It will only be up to you how often and how intensively you dance!
